This photograph was taken on the day that Mo had organised a Players' tour of the Houses of Parliament and Number 10.

We had just made the short walk from Parliament Square along Whitehall to Downing Street.

A five minute walk at most.

But it took longer.

It seemed that everyone wanted to shake her hand or give her a hug or a peck on the cheek or take a photograph.

And Mo had time for them all.

She was warm, gentle and always ready to listen and - when she talked to you – she held your hand.

Everyone loved Mo.

She had that rare gift of being able to put everyone around her at ease.

Just look at that policeman….
