Fallen Angel

|
Fallen Angel, wife of Wolverine, mother of Claudia, step-mum to Benny and Jess, servant to Monet (the cat).
Scalybrat, born in Ely, Camb., 21st June 1974, whilst my father was playing cricket.
Although no longer go as often, have been watching the Players for longer than I probably should've...I knew the night vision goggles were a worthwhile investment tho ;)
Own two motorbikes, an Aprilia RS125 and a Kawazaki zx6r...the former of which my husband crashed on it's way to it's first MOT Wednesday, so is now needing more repairs.
Run a monthly photography competition on another forum, it's been going for just over a year now. Host regular poker nights at my house (didn't win the last one on Friday but did come third, so not too bad).

 11/3/2007 15:26:30
| Lisa - Born 4th September1974 in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire
Single mum to Cameron who is 3 in May and was born in the same hospital as his mummy.
Live just outside Leeds in my lovely new house and work part-time for Leeds University, meaning I get to see loads of Cam whilst still paying my mortgage.
At weekends you will usually find me either at the theatre seeing some form of comedy., or in my local pub watching an array of live music/bands which are featured every week.
Just come out of a very intense 3 month relationship which I am (secretly) gutted about , but hey, you live and learn (or in my case, you live and live)
Interested to see what the rest of the year will bring, hoping that Sporticus from Lazytown will say “schomeone’s in twouble” and will come down from his spaceship and bing-bang-bing-a-bing-a-bang me into oblivion.
Sorry.

| Still at university - doing a PhD now though. I will get a proper job one day...
Still in Aberystwyth - and proud of it!
Still making the odd trip to London to get to the store as often as time, money and life allows - which isn't nearly as often as I'd like!
Still involved in musicals and concerts although lack of mobility tends to relegate me to a backstage role nowadays.
Still not very good at writing "Who's who" entries - somethings never change!

Bo
11/3/2007 22:33:34
| A lot has changed since last time. I currently live in the Virginia suburbs of Washington D.C. I left a law firm in small town Mississippi to do tax consulting in the big city. I have been married almost three years and have one son who is just under a year.
Saw the CSP when I went to London with my mom in 2002, and have been a loyal reader, if infrequent poster, of this board since then.
I am a sports junkie (planning on going to opening day of baseball season here in DC), and love comedy and acting as well (though it has been over a year since my last show). My favorite current tv show is the American version of the Office.
My life is now officially boring b/c it is all about the kid!
I use to have a blog, but it is all but defunct. But, I recently got a MySpace Page
Bo’s MySpace Page
And, since I failed at posting a picture in rehearsal, below is our baby's website with more baby stuff than you ever want to see!

Lizzlie
 12/3/2007 00:23:04
| Hello, I'm Lizzlie!
I recently turned 30, which I guess should make me a grown-up! Fortunately, I don't believe that will ever happen!
I will have been going to see the Players for 12 years this April. Sometimes I think I'll add up the amount of time and money I've spent there, but I don't think I really want to know the answer!
When I'm not at the Store, I work in a theatre Box Office, and when I'm not doing that I like drawing, photography, singing (though mostly karaoke or in the shower these days!), and I collect anything cat-related!
I love The Divine Comedy, so when I'm not on the Wall I can usually be found here!
I met Neil Hannon!!
I finally got down with tha kidz and got myself a Myspace here
I live in South London with the Hairy one, but no cats.

| Nightingale here.
Still living in London & cherishing dreams of one day escaping to a cottage in the country, near a town with a theatre.
Happily attached to a lovely bloke. Done/watched lots of impro over the last few years & currently trying to motivate myself to focus on writing.
Thanks to two years of successful NaNoWriMo attempts, I've got 100,000 words of my first novel under my belt and I want to carry on with that. I aim to do the screenwriting version in June as well!

LizZard
12/3/2007 19:21:55
| Liz here. Born 12 March, 1985, so that'd make me 22 today. Living in Seattle, Washington, USA. I drink way too coffee, as I believe that's a requirement of living in this town.
I got a chance back in '04 to see the magical players, and haven't had another chance since. I need more frequent flyer miles.
I do stand up, and have for two years as of this coming April. Really, comedy is my obsession, but I'm trying to play it off. Who likes kittens?
Musical interests: Beatles, McCartney, Costello, and I'm digging Lucinda Williams this month. Any combination of those three soloist is also good. And soulful type stuff.
Peace.

Gilligan
 12/3/2007 21:34:28
| Hello all my name is Kerry Gibson,
I was born in Pennsylvania July 13th 1969 and
moved to Ringwood, Nj when I was 6 months old. I
am still residing there with my husband (of 16
years) and my three children.
The reader's digest of my life is simply challenge
after challenge and now I have found an even keel!
I am living proof that miracles do happen-even to
people like me.
I adopted my first child Jenica in 1997 from Russia
because I was unable to have my own. I then
battled Hodgkin's 5 months after returning home. I
now have two biological children Emma and Owen-
post chemotherapy/ radiation-very cool I thought!-
for a woman that was supposed to be sterile!!!!
Right now I am a domestic engineer-hee hee and I
do love it-most of the time.
I plan to go back to school for my Masters of Social
Work ASAP to become a full time therapist. I
dabble in it now, but strictly voluntarily I am afraid.
My youngest will be 3 in April so this fall may be my
time to start-we will see.
In the interim I am continuing to write for my
church's newsletter at (communitypc.org) once a
month and the folks there seem to like me?!
I think comedy is a real gift that some people
posses in spades- such as these Comedy Store
Players. One day soon I am coming to see a show
and that is a promise!
I just created a myspace page. I am just a baby
tech wheenie in the making, but I gave it a go.

paste).

| Hello! Still living in Chorley, Lancashire and working in Wigan (near the Pier).
I design soft toys for a living, and you can currently buy loads of 'em for Mothers Day and Easter at ASDA - please do! Especially the koalas...
I help run the local Film Society and the local Amateur Theatre (with the latter, I have a long-term plan to be a comedy promoter but it's like turning around a tanker - they're all stuck in their ways). I do publicity for both.
I love Doctor Who, Life on Mars (on TV) They Might Be Giants and Fountains of Wayne (music) and can't wait for Spider-Man 3 'cos I love comics and films too.
Been seeing Estelle for 3 years now, and it's lovely. No plans for marriage, kids, or sharing a home :)
I spend too much time on the internet.

| Hi I'm Sue, born March 16th 1977 which officially makes me OLD on Friday.
I still work for the BBC as a Script Supervisor making fun TV programmes for you all to watch! (Except Lazytown - we buy that from the Icelandic people)
I own my own flat in London and have a delightful lodger called Luce. However she may move out when she sees the state of the kitchen tonight (new electrics going in!)
I'm addicted to 24 and ER, I have been with my gorgeous other half - BAB (Blonde and Buff) for 14 months now and i still drive a rather clapped out purple Nissan Micra around the streets of West London.
I do a LOT of am dram and can be found on stage in Ealing, West London on Wed 28th - Sat 31st March in 'The Best little Whorehouse in Texas' and May 28th - June 1st at the Minack Theatre Cornwall in 'Man of La Mancha' playing a madam and a prostitute respectively.

Luce
13/3/2007 16:47:36
| Hi I'm Luce - something which can only be written and not spoken aloud when introduced. I am 30 years old, live in West London and live in the lovely Shedevils flat (although am concerned about the comment regarding the kitchen).
I am footloose and fancy free and have oodles of men lining up around the block for me. Well, actually I don't but I damn well should!!!! hehe
I work at a music company but that could possibly change any day now. Watch this space.
I spend my time being forced against my will to watch 24 (ok, that might be a fib) and spend my a lot of my time doing amdram. Am in a blink and you'll miss me role in Whorehouse ( see Shedevil's post )and in the chorus for Disco Inferno for Gloc in May. It also looks as if I will be producing Gloc's next show in October. Very excited yet petrified all at once.
Recently had my ITV debut in Roy Marsden's Casebook and will be in another episode in April in which I get brutally murdered.
It's all very busy at the moment. And I will make it back to the store soon, it's been too long - and I live in London so have no excuse!!!!

| I am fortysomething mother of 4 but I try to forget all that. I'm fairly obsessed with musical theatre and have a fairly hectic life here in West London. (I live a few minutes walk away from Shedevil and Luce). I would love to go to the Comedy Store more often if only there were more Sundays in the month. (Wednesdays don't exist because of rehearsals).
My myspace is www.myspace.com/marianne_magdala
I know I should write something interesting but it's lunch time and I'm hungry :-)

| Hello. I am Lu. I live with Jon in London.
Shoes, Brasilian food, dogs, St. Paul's Cathedral at night, Tiggers, hair curlers, chips and gravy, snorkels, boats and comedy are all good things.
This is the first picture of me I came across. I don't know where Jon keeps all his photos yet, so I can't find any more. My eyes are a bit wonky in it, but there you go. You'll notice I'm holding champagne, which is another good thing.

| Hello, I'm Rebecca!
I was born February 8th in London (Hampstead). Not living too far from there at the moment.
I spend a lot of my time at the Comedy Store. Mostly Sundays. But can be seen there drinking too much and being loud on other days of the week!
I like: Comedy, men, reading, dancing, spending my evenings in Soho, Scotland, high heels, alcohol and shiny things.
Random facts about me:
I only ever wear skirts
I'm left handed
I've sung at the Albert Hall
I'm very flexible and can get both my legs behind my head

| Hellu!
I'm Jen, born 28/3/88 in Preston, Lancashire. At the minute I live in Manchester cos I'm doing neuroscience at uni here. It's a really good course (except this morning I had a lecture on the microbiology of sewage...), and living in halls has been brilliant.
I've only made it to the Store once, but I try to get to as much live comedy as the budget allows! I listen mostly to indie and 60's music, and it is this years mission to finally get down to see HIGNFY live.
I walk everywhere and live off sandwiches cos I don't like pasta or beans...apparently this is some kind of student crime.

I love the Beatles and Oasis (and i got to meet Noel gallagher last year hooray) and I like to travel.
Thats about all for the time being

Willow
17/3/2007 07:19:06
| Hi all,
Still alive and well and living in SW8.
Still chasing the school truants of Wandsworth, which takes up practically all of my time, there are quite a lot of them you know, little darlings.
I do still check the 'wall' on a regular basis to see how everyone is doing but I rarely post now so I'm more of a 'lurker' these days.
Currently involved in a long distance relationship with my very own 'Egyptian God' but hopefully the distance will be reduced within the next couple of weeks, visa permitting, when he is planning to come over and spend 3 months with me, oh I am sooooo excited.Wish us luck?
Anyway, that is the only thing that has changed in my life for years, otherwise pretty boring cycle of work, home , work, I'm afraid.Quite uninteresting really, sorry.
Take care everyone.
Lotsa Luv,
Willow.

| 'lo all.
Still here. Still dating the same guy (2 years). Still at WalMart. Still living in Wastefield, Taxacusetts. But I'm at a new address. I closed on a home two months ago!!
Still not completely unpacked and just loving the stories my friends and co-workers are telling me about how they've been in their places 2, 5, 10 or more years and they still have boxes in the basements/closets/attics they haven't unpacked yet.
Oh joy.
I also have the tendency, even after two months, to just look around my house, hug myself, and giggle uncontrollably.
It's a good thing I live alone.

 31/3/2007 00:13:50
| Hi all - I'm Chelsey, 19 and currently staying in Cyprus, working as a graphic designer for a neat little business in Paphos. I'm moving to London this September to study photography and writing at Roehampton University.
My big move means I should be able to make it to the Store on a regular basis which is something I'm really looking forward to =]
I watch a lot of television and follow far too many series. I love music, listening to it and playing the guitar and keyboard (a bit rubbishly, but there you go). I have absolutely no idea what I want from my life, I only hope that it involves me getting a Volkswagen camper van at some point.

Anyway, I'm 28 and I'm currently training to be an interior designer among other things. So if you ever need a room / house / pub / anything else designed, just give me a call :)
Anyway, better get on with some work!

| Hi, still bobbing around! I'm still a sister in paeds
a&e and live in the gorgeous part of South East
London.
In my spare time I do basic life support and first aid
classes (better money and way less stressful than
agency shifts!!).
Don't go to the store as much as I did mainly due to
my friends now running a rather fab stand up club
(the funny side of covent garden - chortle award
winning!!).
Have been with my Darcy like blokie (aka the dali
harmer) for 2 1/2 yrs, and hope to have further
news by the time I turn 30 at the end of July!
Have been successful in taking up exercise and
better eating this year and have so far lost approx
7lb's and can now run nearly 4km 3 times a wk -
this will be on the sidelines for a few wks though as
yesterday I broke my first bone - my L little toe -
its up on a cushion as I type!!! Hi to all I don't see
much of! x

Catchoo
 16/8/2007 22:35:29
| Hello, I’m Catchoo and I’m a Comedy Store Player virgin. Well, at least for another 10 days…
Being from Stockholm I’m going to play the Swedish card on this - somehow the CSP aren’t too big over here. A fact I of course am trying my very best to change..!
So… how did this Swede end up a CSP fan then? Mostly hard work and dedication really. I started out a fan of the US version of Whose Line, bought the UK version when it was released, decided that Paul Merton was the most hilarious thing I’d seen up to then, went onto eBay and bought a VHS copy of PM live at the Palladium, realized that Lee Simpson and Richard Vranch were as funny (and – unfortunately – that Mr Vranch looks better in a bikini than I do…) and here I am with a plane ticket to London and a ticket to the August 26 show – and very exited about it too!!
Oh yeah, I almost forgot... Formal introduction, huh..?
Umm… eeh… hi..? Okay, everything there is to know about me can be read at www.myspace.com/catchoo, so why not boogie on over and check it out? (I’m rather pleased with the layout…)

Teacher, full time. Photographer, bit.
Happily married, 2 brill kids.
Live in the N.West of Engerland.
Addicted to comedy, worked with the Players one golden summer in Manchester and have been bothering them ever since.
Loves: tea in the garden till the stars come out, having a bubble bath in the afternoon with a good book, the bit in 'Cinema Paradiso' where the wool unwinds from Salvatore's mother's knitting, the first gulp of a glass of stonking wine when making spaghetti,
seeing old friends after years and years, the twiddly keyboard noises on 'The Absolute Game' by the Skids, the lighting in David Lean's Great Expectations, learning something new about taking pictures, watching in awe as the careers of comedy pals zip into the stratosphere, the way that when you close 'Kill A Mocking Bird' the story seems to keep going in secret in the pages - or is it just me????
